Udachi

Born in Ukraine, raised in Staten Island, Greg began attending the NYC tunnel parties in the early 2000’s. Raised on a steady diet of harder edged NYC rave music, he branched out to following and eventually remixing The Panacea (position chrome), and DJ Luna-C (Knite Force). From 2007 on Greg decided to go by the name of Udachi and produce and push this sound that is more akin to, as Tommie Sunshine would put it, “Armageddon fidget rave”. His main influences run the gamut from the likes of Hellfish, Boxcutter, Penta, The Panacea, to Drop the Lime, Crookers, and Digitalism. Recently Udachi’s achievements include an upcoming release on Trouble and Bass with the track “JellyRoll”, and a remix of Audio Bullys “Dope Fiend” along with the legendary Brooklyn based Tommie Sunshine. Udachi loves all aspects of electronic dance music culture, he hopes to branch out to other genres of music, constantly learning and refining his sound.
